6 Days smoke free

Wow, I can't beleive its been six days since I've actually smoked. It took a case of Bronchitis to make me realize that I want to live my life being able to breathe and not worrying if I will develop cancer someday because I choose to smoke. My daughter is 4 and as long as I stay a non smoker I bet she won't even remember that her mommy was a smoker at all. I certainly don't want my daughter smoking because she see's mommy doing it. I will not be responsible for my daughter being a smoker. I want to prevent her from smoking not help her have access to it.

The cravings decrease more each day but the evening is the hardest for me. Not sure why, but I need the most strength in the evening to win from those cravings.

I can't beleive I let myself smoke starting at 15 years old. I thought it was cool and then I just learned to live life with a cigarette in my hand, learning how to live without one in my hand is not as hard as I thought, I am just so shocked that I let this happen for so long. I hope in one year from now I am still celebrating being smoke free. Its up to me to accomplish this and I think that this is something I can do. I really like this website for support, it reminds me I'm not alone.
