Well, I can't believe I'm doing this!  53 days of freedom feels amazing!  And aside from a few bumps in the road along the way, it's been a seamless journey.  Thank God for the patch and Wellbutrin LOL.  And thank the gods and goddesses for this awesome website.  The people I've met here and the wisdom I've found are so, so valuable.

My only struggle thus far has been watching what I eat...it feels like I've already put on a few pounds and I don't want to go overboard.  So the running shoes will go back on my feet this weekend.  And once the gym opens to full capacity, I'll be hitting it once again (after pandemic restrictions are lifted).  Life is going to keep happening--good, bad, stressful, easy times--but it's so much better to deal with everything without smoking.  I am relieved that I don't have that aching urge to smoke every 5 minutes like I used to.

Wherever you are on your journey, whether you're just starting out, or have years under your belt--thank you for reaching out to me and helping me along in my quit.  It's a process, but it is sooooo much easier knowing that I don't have to do this alone.  Hugs to everyone reading this today and let's keep going!

I have smoked on and off (mostly on) for the last twenty years...quit in 2010 and was successful for 3 1/2 years. Then my husband died in January 2014, so I caved and started up again...now, over 7 years later, I want to be done for good!!!! This quit is IT.
