And today was the WORST by far.  Ughh.

I was so moody, and irritable all day. I think alot of it was out of boredom. I was so fidgety and uptight all day long. I know it's normal. But I haaaaate this feeling. I was so out of it and confused all day. I'm hoping all of this passes soon. Although I have noticed the nicotine stains on my fingers & teeth starting to fade, slowly, but they're fading. lol. I just want to stop coughing everytime I laugh! Ugh.

Started taking the little one & the pup on a walk everyday. Which helps. I get out of the house, get some exercise & fresh air, plus I don't think about smoking on my walks. Plus it's nice to finish a whole walk without getting winded! 🙂

I'm just miserable today. But I haven't smoked, or wanted to. Ok, that's a lie. I've wanted to smoke - ALL DAY LONG. But I won't do it. Not when I've made it this far. Tomorrow I'll just have to keep myself busy.

we understand the feelings

its tough for an addict to deny themselves

but you're still going and you made it through another day.

the walking was a great idea.

what you are feeling is normal for this stage.

our thoughts will be with you tomorrow.

ride out those feelings

you can do it

It will pass, but only if you don't smoke.

You're doing great, congrats on 5 days!  You're almost over the first hump, and what you're feeling is completely, utterly normal. Don't stress over it, just allow yourself to feel it. Going for walks is a fantastic idea. We're here for you!

Congrats on 5 days. Yes, as those before have said, things will get better. Find stuff to do to prevent boredom, even if it's just coming on here and reading/writing blogs! Keep up the quit! N.O.P.E.
