6/8/22   Today  is my 44th day of not smoking. I don’t feel too well today. I thought I was pass that. I had this feeling before on previous quits. But I will not smoke. This too shall pass. I like to thank everyone here for helping me with my quit.

@mmorris215 Hi, I'm sorry that you are not doing well today. Quitting has up and down days.

I had some hard times when I got into 40 days. It seemed like the days from 40-50 just DRAGGED on and on. They went so slow I thought I would scream. I wasn't craving as much, I just felt dogged.

I had to blog for help around day 5O and again at day 80. It was suggested that I write a goodbye letter to cigarretes and that did help me a lot on day 50. You might try that, too. It might help you. (((Big hug)))❤️

Hi @mmorris215

Sorry you aren't feeling well!! I wonder if it could be related to the blood pressure issues you mentioned yesterday? I wonder if you need to call your doctor? (If so, I really hope you will do so )

Or, could it be an emotional issue? By that I mean: Emotions are so wrapped up in our nicotine addiction that they can be so troublesome at various times throughout our quit.

I found an article below that may be helpful for you. Our own Dale, AKA @JonesCarpeDiem has some really useful comments in speaking of a period of our quits referred to as "No Man's Land" which my be helpful to you in the first link: No-Mans-Land-Days-30-to-130-approximate

and here is a post from someone else having a rough 44th day:

Please keep us updated on how things are going with you so that someone can get back to you if you are still having issues.

@mmorris215 Sorry to hear that.  Is this possibly related to your trip to hospital?

I think we may have already shared No Man's Land with you.

Hang in there.  Congrats on 43.

I love your resolve.  I love that smoking is not an option.  You have removed it from the list of choices.  All of our journeys are different and I share part of yours.  At 44 days, I still did not feel right.  Things felt like two steps forward and one and 3/4's backwards.  I think it was my body trying to find it's new normal and yours will too.  I believe in you!

44 Days of Freedom is super @mmorris215 We all have good days and bad days, sometimes it has nothing to do with the quit…”it is what it is” and you are so right, “this too shall pass”…
