Good Afternoon..

been a good while since I’ve been on here.. well I past my 1 year anniversary.. not one cigarette have I smoked since I quit .. I’ve been doing good.. I have put some weight on for sure.. but I have to be honest .. I have been wanting a cigarette for the past few days.. it’s just one in out of the blue.. I still have not but I’m actually nervous .. why is this happening now after a year? There is no nicotine in my system .. my advice is to never stray from this site.. cuz the encouragement is there we just have to be here to get it .. I hope everyone is doing well..

Cindy,

I think it's pretty common to feel nervous around anniversaries.  You have been missed, my friend.  Congratulations on your FIRST year of freedom, may there be many, many more to come.  You are OFFICIALLY an ELDER!

CONGRATULATIONS hattonc, I'm so glad that you came on site to let us know that you have been thinking of a Cigarette! Deep breaths and tell yourself N.O.P.E that you don't smoke anymore and another Day ONE would totally suck big time but each and every Day WON is pure freedom we're all here for Cindy stay close......

Congratulations on one Year. Great job.

Since it is anniversary, most of the time mind is occupied about quit. And hence at times feeling of "let's have one cigarette after a year" comes in mind. Good that you stayed away.

Cautions..One puff will bring back to square one.

Big congrats on one year smoke free.  That's a fabulous accomplishment.  Read Dale's post. https://excommunity.becomeanex.org/groups/best-of-ex/blog/2013/12/05/the-two-sets-of-seasons .    I just celebrated two years last week--there is truth to what he says.
