I used to wonder,,,,, what do people do that don't smoke? Well one thing I've discovered as a non-smoker,,,,,  they don't stand around  outside miserablle in freezing weather! Like a bunch of idiots!! Good God Amighty!!! What was I thinking??? I suppose I was'nt or I would'nt have done it.

I'm glad I finally came to my senses.

Thanks EX friends for all your heartfelt support here for me and everyone who gives us a chance.

Thanks for your insightful blogs

James

Amen to that James!! I don't miss that in the least. I was just thinking about that this morning as I looked out my office door at the -5 degree weather here in SE Michigan. Later in the day I saw a bunch of Kroger employees huddled outside the store around a picnic table smoking. I thought to myself "There, but for the Grace of God go I". I felt badly for them and I was so thankful that I no longer had to deal with the hassle. Have an awesome wknd.

Amen- But I also see that as one of my pluses for the quit. I never smoked in my house- I always froze!!!! Therefore I never smoked while on the computer, in the potty or in any other comfy, easy spot. It did help a little that those places were not triggers for me. I am infinitely embarassed that I have smelled that disgusting for all those years. I walk by one now and say Thank you God for one more SMOKELESS day! No wonder my house was filled with scent sprays and deodorizers because I would have been the last person to know how anything really smelled!

We really are the LUCKY ONES that have quit and stayed quit! I see that more each day and have so much feeling for those still struggling behind. I pray that everyone finds a blog like this one that moves them to become an ex smoker for ever more! Congrats on your quit and another insightful blog!!!!
