32 Days Quit!

I made it to one month! I can't believe it. It was hard at times but just like when you start eating healthy, you start to not crave the junk food anymore.. and slowly i'm not craving the smoke anymore. I know I am getting ahead of myself here but for today, I am OK and I'm not craving.  I've been able to be around other smokers, out to the bars, having a few drinks, driving, being home, sitting on my porch at night.. All of those habits are slowly breaking.  I hope to start exercising soon to really amp up my plan.  That's a whole other thing to worry about though.  I feel like quitting smoking and losing weight shouldn't happen at once. That is like one cranky person waiting to happen. haha!

My "Quit it" app said I've NOT smoked almost 500 ciggarettes. OH. My. Godsh.  did I smoke 500 cigs in one month?  That's INSANE!  I never thought about it but then again, my car was filled with empty packs and I was buying up to 2 packs a week or more.. so it really does add up.

So if you are still trying to quit, try that. Try keeping count of how many you are smoking.. keep a running tally.  I feel like knowing that will give you a new perspective.  I know it did for me.

Happy Wednesday!
