It's amazing how one day at a time turns into 300 days quit ! And Friday is 10 Months since I last smoked a cigarette! I have no idea how many cigarettes I haven't smoked, but I'm sure it's thousands!
One thing I know for sure, after the first 24 hours of not smoking, I knew I could have what I so desperately wanted. All I had to do was repeat it the next day! For me, smoking is not an option, I don't spend one second romancing cigarettes, I just acknowledge the thought/memory and move on in my day. And one day at a time I've moved on in my life in a way I had not dreamed of 10 months ago. I learned how to make things I want happen in my life again and I am really content with who I am and where I am in life. It's truly powerful to quit smoking!
I'm grateful to everyone here , especially the old-timers who stay for us, long long after they don't need to . Thank you Peggy, hwc and Dale! Thanks to everyone who has been here for me as they've traveled their own journey. Together we make miracles everyday!
