2-2 @ 2 MY QUIT DATE! RIGHT NOW AND FOREVER!

I feel like I just got married! I had my very last cigarette and I am smokefree from this moment on! I have freed myself from smoking and I am elated! Oh I know what's ahead of me good and bad! I am proud of my decision and ready for what is to come! I wanted so desperately to quit and feared being intolerable to be around but those who love me will stand by me and understand that what is happening to me is temporary and only leads to a better, healthier, happier me! I can't be afraid of the irritability, lack of concentration, and the lovely package of withdrawal. It's the end rest that I want and that I deserve!

I'm proud of you for throwing those sickorettes away. Lean on our community and ask for help BEFORE you light that nasty thing if you are tempted. As we say, you can't light it if you keep it away from your face.

That said, read the links that some of our elders either have (or will) give you. Information is your biggest weapon against the nicodemon.

One step, and then another, gets you where you are going.

Hugs and love from us all.

Thanks Larry! The key is definitely knowledge! I never looked into the information about smoking! I thought out of sight out of mind but this time I am using all of the tools offered to me and educating myself! There is no such thing as out of sight out of mind for my 23 year lifestyle! I have to see it for what it really is....addiction that I AM ridding myself of FOREVER!
