Keep posting, this sight really helps I am on day 17 and although there are ups and downs, every tip you read on this site helps, from the triggers, to blogging to journalling everything.. do what ever it takes and you will succeed, as the always say just one day at a time and before you know it a week will pass then another and anthother..

Congratulations!!! Expect it to be hard and Take it 5 minutes at a time!! I say expect it because if you don't....yeah, that's not good. I am on day 6 cold turkey and am doing much better now. Do whatever it takes to get through and by maybe day 4, probably day 5, you will be feeling much better! when withdrawel is over it makes a big difference! Be strong - get through it!
Welcome - you've made a great decision. I'm on Day 217 after my cold turkey quit and I smoked for 31 years. I began to feel better almost at once but got depressed due to the nicotine withdrawl. I kept with it and I'm very glad I did. Stop for one day at a time and watch the days add up. Let us know how you're doing - we will help if we can.

Know your triggers and avoid them like the plague and when you feel weak, come on here and we will talk you through it. This group of people have helped me so so much!!!
