If you are working to cut back with 16 days to go, be sure you don't get down to 5 or less a day. If you get there, it's time to just quit. Getting down to that few keeps you in a constant state of withdrawal and makes it more difficult than it needs to be.
I am glad you are reading Allen Carr's book. It has helped many here (including me) be successful.
I hope you soon will understand that you are not depriving yourself of anything - except maybe a slow death from a smoking-related disease! Knowledge IS power!
