I am convinced that smoking makes my depression worse and that my depression makes me susceptible to my schizophrenia and the voice in my head.
The reason that I smoke is the pain keeps me from concentrating on anything else. My smoking is like cutting. It becomes a sole focus. Smoking cuts through my schizophrenia and silences the voices. It has become a way of self medicating.
I had to give up my apartment because I was not taking my medications and I have moved into the main facility of a charity organization called Equinox. Equinox is understaffed and does nothing to offer me help.
