'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other. Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines
Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community. Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping. Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime. I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate. Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find.
I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned. So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine. Got it?. In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated. Hopefully, it will catch on again. Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen. This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

You must have a Garmin! It's my favorite new toy!!!
I do! I love it, especially since it helps remind me to get up and move around during my workday - I noticed I was a lot more sedentary when I quit (because I don’t smoke indoors, so I actually had to get up and go outside).
1 mile walk outside and 1 mile with Leslie today. An easy 1st day of the training for 1/2 marathon that official started today.
"Just" 15 minutes each of yoga and weight lifting today, as I think I overdid it yesterday. Neither of them got my heart rate up, but both involve slow and careful breathing, so still working out my lungs.
1.5 mile walk outside and 4 mile walk with Leslie today.
Fairly had to force myself to get moving today. Dragged myself to the treadmill in the fitness room downstairs for a quick 20 minute or so walk. Managed about 0.8 miles at around 2.8 mph. My lungs and heart were fine, but one calf was bugging me a little bit, so I kept it slow.
91/150 intensity minutes for the week. Since I take the weekends off, I need to step it up a bit to finish those off by Friday.
I hear you on forcing yourself to just do it. It's raining and the snow is melting and turning into to slush here not looking forward to running in the slush but it will be done. Have a good day!
Did some walking this morning....same weather as Trudi described so kind of YUCKY walking.....did my weight routine. I am toying with joining a spin class at the gym I've spoken about.
Everyone keep moving.
Worked everyday this week for at least 6-8 hours moving inventory at Hospice, heavy lifting and tons of stairways. Next 2 days will be rounding up the twins as they are staying for couple days Im gonna let Calgon take me away tonight!
Suppose to do intervals of run/walk today but my body was so achy so just did fast walking. I walked 1.5 miles outside and did a 4 mile walk with Leslie.
