Let's Get Moving Part 3

Jump to solution

'The original idea was to "get moving" at least 4 times a week, staying accountable to each other.  Post your accomplishments in the comments. This is the original blog link if you would like to clarify the guidelines

Let's Get Moving Challenge - EX Community.   Any activity counts, as long as you get off your butt and get your heart pumping.  Who knows, maybe we'll lose a little weight or a couple of inches in the meantime.  I hope placing it in discussions this time will work better than a blog post where there were so many entries and becomes harder to locate.  Let's see if we can keep it on the board often and easy to find.

I believe we got sidetracked when I suggested doing other challenges and those challenges were not conducive to everyone. My fault. Lesson learned.  So I am hoping we can get back to doing what "you" do instead of a specific routine.  Got it?.   In the previous post, there were a lot of comments to go through to come up with this list of who participated.  Hopefully, it will catch on again.  Of course, sometimes we got off topic which can happen.  This post really kept me motivated and we had a lot of fun while learning a lot from each other with over 2519 comments on the first blog and 1072 Let's Get Moving 2018 - EX Community  on second blog comments. So let's Get Moving Part 3!

@Sootie good to see u no matter how you MOVE. Thanks for stopping by. Sometimes it's okay. Just to chill.  It is chilly isn't it.

Yes! I don't mind the chill when I am walking but the wind REALLY bugs me! It has not been a great May weather month here so far which is disappointing......sometimes May is better than June but not this year.

Is anyone in touch with Ellen? I know she is not feeling up to blogging or being on the site much....but I was just hoping someone is in touch to make sure she is OK.......she was quite ill the last time I heard.

It was rainy here all day so I settled for using my rower/bike combo and my weights. It doesn't make you FEEL as good as walking....but it is moving of some sort. LOOOOONG day at work today and stressful so I really hope I can walk tomorrow. Walking is my stress reliever.

Jackie your roses are just gorgeous......Nancy, I'm up for a reunion as well!

I sent a PM and a VM and have not had any response.  Mark said he was going to check on her.  I have not seen an update.

It is very hard for me to talk on the phone because I am so breathless. I am having my repeat CT on the 17th, We'll see what that shows. Please let everyone know that I do think of them, I am NOT SMOKING, I am just really struggling with pain & my ragged lungs.

Thanks for checking on me & please thank @JACKIE1-25-15 as well.

It is a rainy chilly day here. I am working inside.  I had a clothes rack fall.  Yuck what a monster it has created trying to reorganize.  God is telling me to get rid of some clothes.  With the pandemic they have just been hanging.  I told my daughter I was going to dress up and go to the living room and sit on the porch for gp.  I hope you all are doing well.  I have been busy being busy. The lawn is coming along.  Thank God for the rain.  The green beans are popping out slowly.  I hope I will not have to plant them a 3rd time. All is well here in VA a except a gas shortage because of crazy folks.

SD and I went to the wildlife refuge early this morning. It's a two-mile loop with lots of birds. Hard to see it in my crummy cell phone photo, but this tree is full of giant white birds.(Egrets, maybe?) I love this walk when I can get to it ❤️20210512_082706.jpg
