The above members are just a small sample of people who have quit with the help of the site you're on and the amazing support. Let that be motivation that you can do it too.

No one has stated today as their quit day. If anyone else has quit today, congrats for starting your journey with us as well.  Be sure to journal your experiences today with a personal blog(← Click to get started) so you can look back on it and reflect where you started. Tag the post "TheDayIQuit". This way others can see what they can possibly expect as they start their quit journey. Before you know it, you'll be celebrating with people like those mentioned above.

You don't sound sound  "ignorant, ungrateful, rude or insane  in any form" to me.  You just sound angry.  And I hope it passes.  Because once it does, you'll begin to discover the freedom of which we speak.  Kudos on however many smoke-free days you have.  And if you don't want congratulations - that's okay too.  Just do whatever you need to do to stay the course.  We're on your team.

Try to keep in mind fmorris‌ that this is a journey, it really is not a battle...it is one step at a time, whether you count the days, months, years, or whatever.  My daughter did not tell me her quit date for MONTHS because she felt like people were either belittling her because it hadn't been that long or they were somehow annoying her by reminding her of how long it had been.  I am thrilled to say that she finally DID tell me her quit date and she has been quit for over three years now.  She no longer feels angry and like she has to battle her addiction.  She feels like her addiction is something she can and will live with...she just will not feed it.  However you decide to celebrate or NOT celebrate, you are on a great journey.  Freedom is amazing...there are so many more things we can do and so many more places we can go when we are not consumed with finding a place to smoke.  I am glad you are here, I am glad that each and every ONE of you are here with your milestones.
