If I've gotten your quit date wrong, be sure to update it and then go through the steps to sync it to the community.

 

Please check your Community Profile to see if you've indicated how many cigarettes on average you smoked per day. Then go to the My Quit Stats tab in your profile to see how many cigarettes you have avoided or put the mouse over your username and then click the little "ex" button in the lower left of the hovercard pop-up.

Ok it’s only day 3 for me but this is hard AF! Any advice for a rookie?

Welcome to the Ex Doug.avey19 and congrats on 3 days of success.   Did you read about nicotine addiction and create a quit plan?  It's not too late.  These two steps made all the difference for me.  Agreed, it is hard, but being prepared with the tools you'll use on your journey leads to success.   Changing up your behavior is also important.  We're associated everything we did with smoking, so it's important to create new associations.

I also recommend taking the "Daily Pledge" - it keeps me on track for the day one day at a time.  

If you "Post To My Blog" to introduce yourself to the community, you'll receive lots of support and advice.

We're here for you so just reach out anytime you need encouragement.
