I’ve been a little scarce...

Things are settling down for me.  The last week was a rollercoaster workwise but I’m learning to keep my inner calm and have started to have more good moments than bad.  Life keeps getting better.  After working outside in the sun all day yesterday (catering gig on the Santa Monica pier), I went home, ate a good dinner and passed out after 8:00 PM.  Mostly slept through the night; woke up at 6, went over to my friend’s house and now relaxing and resting with him.  (He’s sleeping while I blog lol).  This friend is more than a friend by the way, but we are early in our courting so we are taking it slow.  And neither of us wants to put a label on this...yet.

So all in all life is good.  Job’s going well, my health is good, I’ve got a new car, money in the bank, and a new relationship forming that was unexpected.  It’s great and exciting but terrifying at the same time.  My life has NEVER felt this good, and I want to keep all the plates spinning in the air.  So what now?  One day at a time.  One step at a time.  Don’t mess it up Mark.  Keep going and relax.  That’s what I keep telling myself.  One day at a time.  One step at a time.  Happy Father’s Day everyone.

I have smoked on and off (mostly on) for the last twenty years...quit in 2010 and was successful for 3 1/2 years. Then my husband died in January 2014, so I caved and started up again...now, over 7 years later, I want to be done for good!!!! This quit is IT.
