30 Days, stepping into No Man’s Land

I’ve made it 30 days.  I can’t believe I’ve made it this far to be honest, because life has been crazy this week.  Between my rollercoaster of moods earlier in the week, to my crazy work schedule, life has been interesting this week.  But I’m $300.00 richer, and today despite little sleep last night, I feel ok.  Now I enter the great unknown for the next 3 1/2 months.  I’ll keep saving the greenbacks, and will keep close to this site, and will protect my quit.

I am working until Saturday night...thankfully I’m off on Sunday so I can spend time with my mom for mother’s day.  And thankfully I’m only working my day job today and tomorrow so I can rest at night.  Tonight I’m literally going to drive home, take out my dog, feed him, then pass out.  No passing go, no collecting $200.00.  After two days in a row of insanely long workdays and little sleep in between, I need to check out early tonight.  Thank you to everybody here!  Life is good overall, despite this craziness of the last week.  And I’m facing all of it head on, no smokes, just breathing and dealing with all of it as it comes.  It’s been a crazy road but I’ll survive, one step at a time.  XO

I have smoked on and off (mostly on) for the last twenty years...quit in 2010 and was successful for 3 1/2 years. Then my husband died in January 2014, so I caved and started up again...now, over 7 years later, I want to be done for good!!!! This quit is IT.
