I have an appointment Thursday with an ENT. I have sinus issues, that of course have been exacerbated over the years by smoking. But the primary reason I'm going is because about 7 years ago it was discovered that I had a papilloma on the base of my tongue. It was biopsied at that time and it was determined that it was microscopic and benign. And, I've never been back to have it checked out. And, I've smoked away in the ensuing years. And, I'm nervous that it has progressed from being benign to malignant. So, I'm going to get it checked out.
