Knocking at my back door

We live in a 'subdivision' that allows horses. We also share a 3 acre pond owned by those of us that live around it. Our property lines extend 20 ft. into it. I have ducks, about 17 right now, all drakes both hand raised and wild that reside in our pond. Of course we feed them so the wild ones know 'This is a sweet deal. We get buddies, a nice pond with some protection, places to hide, and free food twice a day. Count me in on this.'  The entire flock comes up to the house twice a day to get fed. What they don't eat the squirrels do and there's some rabbits that come over. For the past few months we have been seeing deer tracks around the food area which is right up to the house. The tracks look like several deer of different sizes. My husband bought a trail camera and this is what showed up the first night.

This picture was literally at the trail cam that's mounted 2 feet from the house

The next night there were also squirrels and rabbits coming in and out eating with the deer.  The first and second deer pictured looked like they might be pregnant but I'm no expert by far.  They and miscellaneous other animals have been showing up every night. Too cool!

I had smoked 35 years. I consider myself 'certifiably crazy' (jokingly) and anyone that knows me can attest to that : ) I am a certified Reiki practioner, I love heavy metal music even though I'm over 50; animals of all kinds and will rescue and rehab (if possible) any beastie I come across; I love raising ducks; riding horses; embroidery, and of course sarcasm. I am looking forward to the rest of my life as a non-smoker.
