I made it to one year! Cold turkey/smart turkey. I never could have gotten to where I am today without all the wisdom of the elders and the support of everyone. I will be forever thankful to God and to you alll. It's been a tough year personally, just ended a 17 yr marriage, live in a new place and started working after being a stay at home mom forever. But not once did I pick up a poison stick. I just had to keep telling myself the reasons I had quit to begin with and I never ever want to go back to a day one or hell week etc of a quit. I will continue to move forward one day at a time and remember that smoking was only hurting me. I remind myself that I am worthy of a poison free life. No more coughing, no more smells and no more worries about being controlled by it. FREEDOM
