Taking a break

I am probably not going to be posting for a while, I will still try to read blogs and may say something now or then, I am not sure.  My back pain is out of control and I have a call in to my rheumatologist asking her who I should see or what I should do.  This is horrible, I cannot bend over, my right leg is in terrible pain, and I am not sure what to do.  I have tried some gentle stretching exercises but I seem to have aggravated it...I cannot use ice because it just about sends me into orbit.  I would not wish this on anyone.  Primary care doc thinks I may have torn previous scar tissue but does not know what to recommend, hence the call to rheumatologist.

I need to just lay low for a while.  I did work yesterday for three hours, nearly fell over after that but my son was so sick that they would have had to close the cafe.  He saw the doc, diagnosed w/ flu, fever is going up and down but not staying over 104 today.  My husband and I took him some juice because he ran out and was clearly in need of llquids.  They did not have any cold filtered water and the city water here is disgusting so he was getting even more dehydrated.

Thinking of all of you,

Ellen
