I was a little premature... 28 days at 7 days in a week and my mind said 4 weeks is a month! Still, tomorrow will be day 30 and I will remember all the nice accolades everyone gave me... thank you everyone!

I am a transplant from England and came to California in 1973; became a citizen in 1985. I have promised myself I would be a happy non-smoker by my 70th birthday or sooner - April is getting close! I started smoking at age 15 and like many others have tried to stop several times. This time I have a very different attitude and I am looking at this as a positive move to regaining my freedom as opposed to losing something by giving it up.
