I just checked my stats because I find the stats very motivating. As of this moment, I avoided 278 cigarettes. Divide by 20- round to 14 packs. At $10 a pack, that's $140!!!

As much as I'd love to splurge on something, I don't get paid during the summer (which is why I started teaching group exercise and personal training). Summer is always tight, SO... I will keep a small "cash stash" set aside from my clients that represent my savings from not smoking. That will be just for fun stuff to DO!

That makes me happy to visualize. Day trips to the beach or the city, whatever! It will be nice to know we can go have some fun as a family because I quit!

I am a mom, a teacher AND a fitness instructor. It blows my mind that I used to smoke. It made me feel like a total and complete phony. I run and bike frequently. I am working on my swim. My speed and endurance are improving, but more importantly, I now feel truly connected to the world I'm part of and no longer pushing away.
