Just want to vent..........
I hate snow.
I hate the 48 hours before a snow storm when it is all anyone can talk about.
I hate the evening before a snowstorm when all the rumors start flying and people scan the internet and claim that they saw there is a travel ban.....no vehicles allowed on the road.....yada, yada, yada
BE AWARE-----NOT A FLAKE OF SNOW HAS FALLEN SO FAR!!!! AND THIS WHOLE PANIC HAS BEEN GOING ON NOW FOR ALMOST 72 HOURS.
There really should be a law against this.
I HATE to sound old but years ago:
We did not have SUV'S
We did not have special stuff to squirt on the roads
We did not have clothes made of polartek and sub zero materials
We did not have alerts on our phones, on fb, on TV
People went to work. It was unheard of not to go to work because of snow. It was unheard of to even think of not going to work because of snow.
Drive carefully. Drive SLOWLY. Use common sense (unless it has been outlawed-----better google it and check)
I'll check in tomorrow night when the insanity dies down. '
