Hey all.....Newbies, young and old.....    Just stopping in to say hi to everyone.......Yes, I miss you Elders too....  dearly!

My job responsibilities have changed so much, that I barely get time after work to enjoy my life.....

But one thing I am enjoying every single day, is my non smoking self.....

Yesterday began my new 50 day countdown to my almost 2 years of not picking up one single sickarette......What a great feeling it is.....

I am beginning to feel a lot better stomach wise, I have changed around times of medications I take now, which have helped tremendously.....

I am on 3 medications daily now.....my antidepressant, my stomach acid/heartburn med, (I take this one at night now, because I can't take it with the synthroid now that I have thyroid issues......I feel sometimes that life was healthier smoking, but then ..... I remember how much better I can breath, how much more free time I have to do so much more in a day, because smoking was truly wasting my time.....I never think about it until I smell it from others smoking.....UGH!  Wish I didn't have to, but unfortunately there are many addicts to this addiction out there......

But yes, I miss everyone here, and I hope I don't lose my smiley winky face on the Elder's list, because I know I was truly blessed to have found this awesome place for support.....you are all wonderful, and you know it!

I keep you all in my prayers, and keep on helping all the newcomers..... !

Will try to get back here soon!   I have a vacation coming up soon!  Hallelujah!

Hugs to all!

About the Author
I'm an active 55 year old woman, who loves hanging with my family. I have 5 children 2 of them married, and 4 grand children. They are all my whole world. UPDATE 8/21/23 Now 61 years and have 2 more grandsons to add to the crew! My hobbies are bike riding, golfing, bowling, kayaking, painting (canvas or rocks) and gardening (getting the hang of it finally) I have smoked since I was 13 yrs old, and quit one time within the last ten years for a total of 9 months. Stress took me back to smoking. My life has been stress free for the last couple of years. Divorced for 2 years now, but back together with my Ex (husband) for a year now. It's time, I'm ready, and I quit! So far it's been pretty easy, so I'm very optimistic about this being my final quit! Thanks in advance for all the support! 2023 - Update: I now have 2 more grandbabies for a total of 6 and still smoke free! They will never get to know me as a smoker!!!!!!
