My daughters best friend ...who lived with us for awhile and we think of as our “other daughter” gets to attend her male best friends funeral today. Number 4 of her friends to die from a heroin overdose, she was a recovering addict and now I’m not sure if she is still in recovery...my heart breaks for her. Addiction is addiction...smoking just takes longer to kill us right? And like the heroin addict everyday, every moment we choose our path....to use nicotine or not, to die a slow death or not, to believe the lies of relaxation and comfort or not....please choose life...addiction kills
