I have always tried to teach my children to share with others. I am happy to say that they have all developed this wonderful attribute. There is a down side to this like when they share their colds and sore throats with me. I woke up yesterday with a cough (dry and scratchy). Thanks to my daughter's lessons on sharing I am now the recipient of a sore throat. It's not too bad though. I've been blogging about the mornings, which have been very challenging for me. Well, guess what. It was challenging this morning until I coughed. Amazing how my thought went to a drag on a cigarette and evoked a response that said, "Are you kidding me?!". After that I was so grateful not to be smoking anymore. That first drag would have led to choking and, not to mention, disappointment in myself. I will now thank my daughter for helping me stay quit by sharing her cough. It's uncomfortable, but this too shall pass.
