Here I am living a life of Freedom wowser I never ever thought I'd ever quit smoking let alone stick with it BUT YAY here I am celebrating 6 precious years of Smokefree living! Whew for me finding out that I have mild copd that was the kick in the pants that I needed to bite that bullet and take back my life, I smoked for 40 years of at least 30 a day with at least a half dozen half assed attempts at quitting I was scared of ending up on oxygen 7/24 so I got on line and found this site and read everything I could find about this horrid addiction then I picked a quit date but I wasn't ready when it came so I reset it and promised myself that I'd never pick up another cigarette as long as I live and I don't break promises to anyone including myself for some reason I forgot about this site until my 18th day when I was going to jump in my car and buy a carton of cigarettes SCREW just the pk BUT thankfully I remembered and got on line up until that point I'd been hiding in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT I commented on something and moody_9-18-13 mentioned that I should do a blog and say a little about myself and so I did and here I am. I had many many many horrendous cravings and moodswings and lack of sleep plus life has kicked me in the teeth BUT that's LIFE it happens whether we smoke or not so with commitment and perseverance along with N.O.P.E ~ Not One Puff Ever and Vigilance ~ N.M.W ~ No Matter What ~ I'm living my Forever Quit and loving it.

Thank you everyone for being part of my quit journey....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
