I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired of the slavery to the damned Cancer Sticks BUT it took a health scare that made me realize I wasn't invincible to getting smoking related illnesses like geesh I always thought it would happen to other people BUT not me! My husband Mark quit smoking on the 25th of April 2014 after months of concerns for his health it took him quite some time to get to that day of 0 cigarettes BUT YAY he made it so that day was his Day WON  and now he's got over 6 years, then I was told the beginning of June that I have mild copd well gosh my desire to live was AND is much stronger than continuing to slowly kill myself so I dug around AND found this site on line, I'd only got internet that February so I was pretty green BUT I did figure out how to sign up  and I also set up a quit date for July 7th BUT I wasn't ready when it came so I reset it for the 14th of July and prepared myself for my day ONE which turned into my day WON it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination BUT with commitment and perseverance PLUS the help I got from this community got me through to that point where I realized how much better life is without those yuckies (cigarettes.)

LIFE will always happen good or bad whether we smoke or NOT ~ BUT we can and MUST choose to live LIFE on LIFE'S Terms without the crutch of cigarettes.....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
