Walking is worth it

Rest paid off yesterday . Today I walked an hour and a half , took a break then walked another 1/2 hour . I took trails I hadn't checked out before . So pretty . No smoking . 

I started the spring barely making three blocks . Today was miles . Before covid I was scheduled for a program to help my lungs function better with moderate / borderline severe COPD . That was cancelled of course being it was in the hospital. 

Walking helps your muscles , your lungs , your heart , your spirits . I think my doctor will be pleasantly surprised that my breathing and tolerance to excersise seems so much better .. perhaps my lung function tests will also reflect the work . I think so . Best part ... I wasn't smoking all the way like years ago when that was my escape .
