Harraskeet River Freeport Heron egret Duck Robert Bukaty AP.JPG

The Harraskeet River in Freeport, Maine with an Egret, a duck and a shore bird all lined up.

Just for today, let's say,

we'll handle our quits in a solid way;

 No smoking, or puffing or putting in chew,

 There are so many other things we can do.

 Using good graces and making good choices,

 No Smoking for us, hear all our voices.

I'll have dialysis tonight at the out patient mall near my home, it's a late appointment for me, so I'll be trying to change the time I go there.  If I can't change the time, I'll just make the best of it.  Adapt, adapt that's how life is lived I think.  My mother used to say "he'll get over it", she was right.  Have a wonderful Wednesday, don't smoke and be grateful.

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
