Dawn Ruitto Sky Stalker.jpg

Dawb Ruitto, The sky stalker, took this photo in southern Maine.  The purple foreground is snow in the background is sea smoke.  It's a cold day here again today so the "smoke" will be plentiful.

Mornings  like today, or the one in the photo, are enjoyable now that I'm not smoking.  It means I lived long enough to see the beauty around me.  I'm very grateful for the opportunity to not smoke, that's true freedom for me.

I'm doing better this morning, that nagging cough persists, I'm taking three kinds of meds just for that, two are prescriptions.  Some day it'll fade away and there'll be even more to be grateful for.  In the meantime I'll be grateful for the reminder.

Have a great day everyone, smoke free, happy and healthy, and in fine spirits too.  Join me today in saying "Heck No!"

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
