Amish Ice Harvesters Aroostook Crown of Maine.jpg

A closer look at the Ice Harvest in Aroostook County, Maine.  Crown of Maine Productions too the photo.

It's Thursday, it's cold out and I'm staying in.  Continuing to improve slowly.  At least the coughing has slowed down! I won't be going out today it's below zero I think this morning and tomorrow.  Coffee at home suddenly sounds right.

I won't be smoking today, I've said "Heck No!" and I fully mean it.  Back in the day it wouldn't have been too cold, I used to walk every day, heat, cold, rain, snow it didn't matter I got in at least five miles.  The trouble with that was I smoked a stinky stick about every half mile - where was the health benefit there??

Have a wonder filled day, smoke free, comfortable at home or work.  Maybe you can harvest some ice.

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
