Mothers Beach Kennebunk 012219.jpg

Mothers Beach in Kennebunk, Maine in January 2019 during a coastal storm.

We have freezing rain all day today, so I'm not going out at all, not even for coffee with the guys, not worth the risk.

I didn't always worry about risk, I smoked, I'd have been out on a day like this, maybe not driving but smoking!  Thankfully I no longer make that choice, and I'm also thankful that you have made the choice too!

I can remember how miserable I used to be, standing out and stupid.  I am grateful today that I can make a healthy choice.  Join me in our journey - we just won't smoke together (sort of).

I quit on October 25, 2013, it was the best decision I ever made (or, one of them). I smoked for over 50 years and quit Cold Turkey. My most useful tool is gratitude, you can borrow some from me.
