For the past few days I've been tracking the cigs I smoke and my triggers. I've learned that my triggers are pretty much what you would expect: coffee, morning routine, after meals, breaks at work, driving, stress (a biggie), etc, etc. But what has really hit me was how MUCH I smoke. Now, I've been aware that I've smoked about a pack a day and have for years (too many). But when I stop and look at each and every cigarette I've smoked over the last several days and the situations that I've smoked them--it's a lot! Strange, isn't it, that it never seems like that many! It hit me how much time I've devoted to it--and how many times I've inhaled that garbage into my lungs. Ignorance may be bliss, but it's scary now that I have to face it.
