Calming the storm

It's March.  It's snowing.  And I'm going stir crazy.  But I'm not smoking.  Mostly I'm crocheting.  I've never made a blanket so fast in my entire life.

I know what folks are getting for Christmas this year!

Since I retired I admit I've gotten really lazy.  And when you mix stir crazy with lazy you get a really strange feeling.  Not sure what to call it, but it's a bit like revving an engine and never taking off.  I do a lot of deep breathing, and I'm trying to learn Tai Chi.

~Also I love the aroma of scented candles.

If it ever stops snowing, I pledge to go outside every day.  Until then, I'll just keep working on those blankets.

I became nicotine-free on Christmas Day 2017. That's what I use as my quit date. I had smoked cigarettes for 45 years, then vaped Juuls for a few months before quitting cold turkey when I used up my supply of pods. I am a retired widow, living in Upstate NY.
