Summer Workouts

I was spurred on to get back on my bike by jonimarie‌'s  blog:  My Best Friend   Been out four times in the past five days and already upped my pace and mileage.  You Joni?

So who else is working out and getting in shape?  Miss Jackie? JACKIE1-25-15‌  You're gearing up for that race, right?

We got the butts out of our mouths now let's get our butts in gear!  Let's spur each other on!

I am still teaching my pilate classes 3 X a week.  Going to be 83 in July and only working out on the mat because of problem feet.Lots of crunches, etc.  Hot down here in Key West and the ocean temp is now 83 degrees. No I do not swim - I sink.

Hugs to all.

YES!! I am almost done with school and am training for two tri's this summer! I also signed up for my first full marathon in October! I may have a second addiction. At least THIS one will keep me young!

In other news, I just got hired as a group instructor for Lifetime Athletic!! I might be done with school soon, but I'm about to be very busy!

I do Yoga, and I'm going to start walking again too.  I also love to swim.  I don't have a bike, but I have a stationary bike.

(Thought I had responded to you two gals after you posted but just discovered it was in draft mode on here.)  You're an amazement, Lillian. vanlil I wanna be just like you when I grow up!   Teaching 3 pilates classes a week.  My my my!   But YOU?  Can't swim?  Living in FL?  Hard to believe.

TriGirl‌   More power to ya!!!  I am in awe of people who can run 24 miles!  Kudos on the new job.

Good for you, Christine13‌   One of these days I'm going to have to try Yoga. I was never a walker.  I'd rather do just about anything other than that.  Just so uncomfortable on my wide hips.  Have just started back with my step aerobics.  Had to do SOMETHING as it's been pouring every day here of late, so no biking.  Knees aren't thrilled about it, but I found a bunch of those interlocking playroom floor mats someone was throwing out and put them up on our porch floor.  They're great for softening the step down and for lying on to do stomach exercises.  'Course I cheat and add another pad on top for that!
