In response to Caturday, I figured our canine support team should get some love too. Who else has a four legged friend who is helping cheer them up while they go thru their cravings? Here’s my babies - Beau, my Siberian Husky, and Charlie, my YorkiePoo.

2. My Channie he is gone now. I miss him so. My animals are my children for sure.
I have an adorable Harley Davidson Biker Jacket and hat for my YorkiePoo, but my husband won’t let me play dress up with him - such a party poop - lol

That is awesome. I have heard it's very easy to get your dog a companion trained certificate, for hospital stays. JusI guess a few weeks of classes and boom done. Just a small FYI, if interested.

Laurarutledge Your dogs are beautiful. I would LOVE to have a dog but I can't handle walking one. I would love a little one who would be good company...I love my cats but let's face it, cats are super independent and not all snuggly unless it is THEIR idea. I love the dog face sketch, it's beautiful!

Laurarutledge your fur babies are beautiful. OH love my 2 shelties fur babies. They are my babies and always put a smile on my face. I really don't know what I would do without them. Hmmm I like that companion idea my I wish I would have knew that companion trick when I spent all those days in the hospital.

Toby the dark color sheltie was my Lassie about a year ago. I was in the kitchen, warm outside and had patio open to let the dogs come and go. Toby kept coming in barking at me and running back out on the porch, repeated several times and finally nipped me lightly in my butt and ean outside. I went out to find 2 boys around 18 at years old at my fence and one of them had my Sassy (light colored one) and lifting her up over the fence. Toby saves the day and saved her. They are really smart dogs. Thanks Laurarutledge
Wow, so they were gonna steal your dog. Wow. Good for Toby! What happened when you went out there? I'm assuming it was a different part of the fence they were lifting her over because the one in the photo looks like it's many feet off the ground (from the street below) and would be pretty hard to reach? Yet there's a mail box right there. Strange.
Yeah they were young punks. We had a balcony added, and steps that lead to the back yard and the dogs were out in the yard at the time it happened. That is our grill your seeing in that pic that sort of looks like a mailbox in the angle I took the pic lol. When I went out there I had no idea or even expected anyone being on the other side of the fence. When I seen them I panicked a bit and then shouted for them to put the dog down. My hubby wasn't home at the time and was afraid but wasn't letting them take my dog without a fight. The 2 kids starting yelling and carrying on that my neighbor heard them and came out to check out the hollering. Thank God he did and chased them off. Toby and the nighbor saved the day. I brought the dogs in and locked my doors. Fortunately shortly after the incident my hubby got home.

It’s scary that someone would steal your family member - it’s like stealing one of your children. We had two twin pekingese and had more people come up and ask us if they could buy them - can you imagine someone actually offering to buy one of your children? My dogs are my babies - it’d be like selling a child! Glad Toby saved the day!
Mazy, a mini-doxie,black and tan, my side kick since she was 7 wks., and is almost 11yrs.
She is Helping ME so much with this QUIT! I have to apologize to her several times a day
when my patience seems too short. She kisses me and her eyes say, I know Grandma this
is tough but I am here. She didn't quite know what to do with me yesterday, when tears
threatened just below the surface and my nerves were raw all day....She watched me like a Hawk,
gave me Comfort. Today is a new day....Rain/cold has left and we have Sunshine! Will walk outside today!
