A quit differed!

It is a sad, sad day! I learned today that a Lady who was part of my quitting group here, blew a quit of over 3 and a half years last month! This Lady, and I shared so much duing the early days of our quits! We were there for each other! We even have a favorite BBQ joint in common!

  

She never hated the cigarettes enough. Then about a month ago she found enough horror in her everyday life, that the terror of the slavery did not seem that bad anymore!

  

I shed a few tears this afternoon. I am not sure if they were for her, or for the realization that I have the same addiction that dragged her back down!

  

However, like a Phoenix, she will rise from the ashes of her addiction tomorrow! And she will be proud again! And, WE will be proud again!

  

Be vigilant my friends! There is no safe harbor!                Tommy
