By the time I finish writing this, the clock will strike Midnight here on the east coast! That means it will be October 16th! That is the anniversary of the birth of my best friend! That is right! Sometime around 40 something years ago (I think) the earth was graced by the birth of Sootie! If you do not know this Lady yet, go out of your way to meet her! She embodies the qualities that I remember admiring in my Dear Aunt Lucy! She has the ability to shell everything right down to the corn! She sees through the husk and the silk and gets to the heart of the matter! No non-sense! Good common sense! You may not like her vision of things, but you will not doubt where she stands! And I find the truth very hard to argue with! It is very refreshing to be able to disagree with someone, without being disagreeable! Sootie once told me that she does not answer comments on her blogs! Her blogs pass on her advice, and opinions, and to answer comments is just argueing! That is so cool! The confidence to say what you mean, and not feel a need to defend it!
