Good morning fellow Exer's! Now that the Casey Anthony trial is over we can re-focus on our quits, right? I hope no one chose to smoke over that verdict! I personally believe that the prosecution, in an effort to sound confident, set an expectation of proof that they could never meet! It is a reminder to us all to keep our expectation real! We can all beat this addiction if we take it one day at a time!
The Freedom Train is in Michigan this morning! We are here for our beloved Tammy(Empathy)!She has One Full Year today! My friend, it is your time to shine! All you dreams are on their way!(thanks Simon and Garfunkle) Tammy was long thought to be a serial quitter! She even had doubts about herself! To say that she struggled here is an understatement! There were a few who believed in her! Peggy, who will tell you she has no time for those who are not serious, had plenty of time or Tammy! I had faith in her as well! Our Dear Tammy never stopped trying and she never stopped learning! One year ago today, she took that leap of faith that began her "FOREVER QUIT". While Tammy has some issues with her health, but she never stops coming here and partisipating in the "Collateral Kindness". She helps herself by helping others! We are celebrating you today Tammy! So get into your prettiest party dress and get your dancin' shoes! This party is going to run late! I am proud of you!!! And a belated Happy Birthday to your Mom!
The next stop for the Freedom train is at an undisclosed location! Notice that the Train windows are blacked out!! We are here to pick up a very private young Lady who has one fantasic quit going! ! (Judy) You have 300 Smoke Free Days behind you! While there is little I can tell you about Judy, I never tire of the story of her arrival; here! Judy came to us with questions about her ability to quit! Her avitar was a question mark! After talking with her, I knew, that all she needed was a tiny bit of confidence! I tried to provide that, and suggested that she change her avitar to am exclaimation point! She did that! Judy found with-in herself the ability to do what she needed to do! Now in the late evening here on the east coast, Judy shows up with carefully measured doses of wisdom to help those in need of it! I am proud to say that Judy is my friend and a friend of this great community! So come and celebrate you, my dear friend! And save the last dance for me!! 300 Days!!!
