Tomorrow will be my last day on the patch. I am getting a little antsy and I am not sure if I am ready to be off of them. What do you think?

Also, when I had quit for 2 years about 8 years ago, I don't recall missing and constantly thinking about cigarettes at 2 months in. I remember going through the whole patch program and then that was it. I didn't read all the time about smoking. There were a lot of days during step 3 that I would forget to put the patch on. I barely thought about smoking. With this quit, it is ALL THE TIME; Like I am still in the first week.

In a previous blog I had mentioned maybe I should stop reading so much on this site and other quit smoking information. In all honesty, I think that is what I need to do. I strongly suggest the Allen Carr book to everyone in the beginning and maybe reread it from time to time but I am unsure how beneficial it is to read about smoking 24/7.

I do want to thank everyone. I may not have gotten this far without this site but I think I need to venture on my own now. I'm sure some will disagree.  I'm sure I will still be lurking in the shadows every so often and pop in to say I am still smoke free and to check on the people I have connected with.

oh my...I am getting a little sad. I feel like this is a break up!!! Haha

Talk to you soon....but not too soon 🙂

I was a closet smoker or at least I like to think I was. After quitting smoking there is NO WAY my smoking was a secret; how could it be with the awful smell??!! This site made all the difference in my Forever Quit! Smoke free since September 7, 2015
