"Hard times come, and hard times go." (Not exactly one of those melodies you'd leave the theatre singing lol), but the truth of the lyrics reach across all borders. I'd say -
Cravings come and cravings go.
"Yeah we know that come tomorrow, none of this will be here So hold tight on your anger Hold tight on your anger Hold tight to your anger, and don't fall to your fear"
Come tomorrow none of this will be here, these cravings of today. Come tomorrow when you awaken with another day under your smoke-free belt, you will discover it was worth it.
Hold tight to your anger at this addiction. it will help fuel your perseverance.
And "dont' fail to your fear," you newbies who are on the 'day before your first day of quitting.' Ignore that fear, have faith that you CAN do this. Because, you know what? We old timers are here to tell you, you CAN. And just look around you at the ones who have 3 and 6 and 10 days quit. That's how it's done. One day at a time.
Just in time for The Boss... Thank you!!!
