UPDATE- What a difference a quit makes!

(Update:  I must have also gone to the bathroom while I had the key in my hand, because that is where it turned up.  What would probably have been a half pack problem turned out not to be a problem at ALL!!  How sweet!!!)

I went out to water my plants, refresh my birdbath, get my recycle bags out of the garage and back in my car (cleaned out the car for my daughter's luggage), and repot a plant I bought yesterday.......................

Eventually I was ready to unlock my car, and my key was nowhere to be found.  I remember it was in my hand with the watering can when I went out my back door.....and that's the last I remember of it.  It's just a key with a fob attached - so it's not big and easily spotted.

Before I quit, this would have sent me into a fervor of chain smoking and maniacally retracing my footsteps, and smoking and retracing and smoking and retracing..................

Now - I retraced my steps and looked in all the places I might have put them to no avail - and just decided that it will probably turn up - or not.  Amazing the patience you get when your brain receptors are not firing all the time!

Life IS grand when we don't smoke!!!

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
