I've taken up the habit of drinking herbal teas in the evening. One brand I enjoy prints words of wisdom on the little paper tabs attached to end of the teabag string. Two of these messages, I thought, could resonate with anyone here who is nurturing the emotional discovery needed to start a courageous quit, or anyone here nurturing the emotional recovery needed to live with -- and honor! -- an enduring quit.
I decided to share these here, without my personal interpretation. I wanted these to speak to you as they will.
There is nothing like you, there was nothing like you, and there shall be nothing like you.
Love yourself so that you may know how to live with self-respect.
Remember: Your physical recovery, your medical recovery, your physiological recovery from nicotine addiction are all strengthening you for an emotional and spiritual recovery. So, hang in there! It all gets so much better!
