Quitting smoking is a choice and remaining quit is also a choice and it's absolutely the right choice for our health family and friends but especially our lives which literally depends on us to quit and stay quit, I quit smoking because a Dr didn't like the sound of my lungs and set me up with a breathing test which showed mild copd that's when I realized I wasn't invincible and found this site and set up a quit date but I wasn't ready so I reset it and then I totally forgot about it until my 18th day when I was struggling to the point where I was ready to drive to the store and buy a carton of cigarettes instead of just a pk BUT then I remembered this so I got on line and commented on something up until that point I'd been lurking in the shadows and hadn't let myself be known BUT thankfully someone moody_9-18-13 I believe suggested I write a blog and say a little about myself and so I did and so many of you helped me through that horrendous crave and so many other rough patches that came along there's definetly been changes to this site BUT the one thing that hasn't changed is the caring hearts of the people that make up this awesome community because we're all here for one reason and that's to help each and every person to the best of our ability to quit and stay quit there's a wealth of information here through reading, blogging and commenting ,we care and we want everyone to live a life of Freedom because we know as difficult as quitting can be it's absolutely Doable and totally worth it to be Free, I'm EXtremely proud to be able to say that I'm celebrating 1,461 glorious DOF or four ginormous years of Smokefree living and for me life is alot easier since I through the yuckies (cigarettes) away, I don't have to be outside in all kinds of weather nearly horking up a lung or possibly even both by coughing, choking and trying to breathe while sucking on a cancer stick with N.O.P.E and vigilance I'm totally reaping the benefits of being an Ex Smoker, I'm one of those Happy Quitters and I have been for quite some time, hang on tight if you're struggling because there's definetly Life after Cigarettes and it's super fantastic so continue stacking up those precious Days of Freedom so each evening you can look yourself in the mirror and smile and say yay for another Day WON believe me when I say it's totally worth it....

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
