Quitting Smoking is a Choice

Quitting smoking is a choice that everyone has to make at some point and I wanted to make it while I was still on this side of the grass or on on this side of the snowbanks if you live in a snowbelt like me but seriously we all know that smoking kills and it doesn't matter who you are or where you live at some point after decades and decades of smoking it's bound to effect a person's health and for me finding out that I have mild copd was enough to scare the Crap out of me and bite the bullet and take back my life after 40 yrs of smoking at least 30 smokes a day! Was it easy? HELL NO!!!!  but was it worth? HELL YES!!!! This awesome community of EXers helped me through the roller coaster ups and downs of withdrawals and moodswings and lack of sleep without ripping anyone's face off or tearing my hair out and most of all is that I never relapsed because I was told to educate myself by reading everything I could find about quitting smoking so I listened which strengthened my resolve to the point where I believed in myself and knew that I was going to succeed no matter what and here I am at 1,338 precious Smokefree days and counting! I stuck with N.O.P.E and vigilance because S.I.N.A.O Smoking Is Not An Option and as difficult as it can be somedays all I can say is you can succeed believe it and once you get to that good place in your quit you'll realize that life really does get easier and easier with time under your belt and that Freedom Rocks!
