We enjoyed another great wk end weather wise , quite windy at times but we reached 47 degrees yesterday afternoon and we may hit 50 today but it's been sunny so it feels alot warmer . we had our 12 yr old grandson Adam and 14 yr old granddaughter Emma here for awhile yesterday and I took them both home late afternoon . Smoking doesn't enter my thoughts much anymore other than thinking how thankful I am that I finally wised up and tossed the yakies ( cigarettes ) away after 40 yrs of slavery to the dreaded nicotine poison and I figured that it was time to stop playing Russian Roulette with my life because I finally realized when I found out that I have mild copd that I wasn't invincible that if I didn't brighten up I was probably going to end up on oxygen 7 / 24 or even worse die a slow painful death that's most likely smoking related , quitting smoking isn't easy by no means but anything worth having in life takes time and effort and I can't think of anything more important than taking care of ourselves and trying to live a healthier lifestyle which means quitting smoking and remaining quit . If there's anyone hiding in the shadows reading this it's time to take back your life because lifes way to short to knowingly continue to slowly kill yourself and if you are struggling hang tough and hang on tight because there's definitely life after cigarettes but unfortunately it's going to take some time to relearn life without the crutch , stick with your quit and stay close to this site because we're all here to help you through the rough patches !

I'm a proud Gram of 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and I consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none, plus I enjoy reading and being outside and since quitting smoking breathing is so much easier because I'm not coughing half of my time sucking on a cancer stick....
