Share your quitting journey
Thank you to everyone for your prayers and comments on my blog last night, I slept pretty good after talking to my sisters head nurse and knowing that the surgery went well and once I wrote the post here to let you know that things went well, I hit the sack at 10:30 .I probably tossed and turned till almost midnight and the next thing I knew it was after 6 this morning so I got up and hubby helped me stir up a batch of bread before he went to work so when he comes home for lunch he'll have fresh rolls with his lunch. If you are in the early day's or wks in your quit believe me when I say that life is so much better without the crutch of smoking. I don't know when in my quit that I realized that I can handle life so much better without smoking but I know that it was well over a year ago , it was an aha moment and what a great moment it was because I look back at my smoking days and can't believe that I smoked during major headaches which of course made the headache even more excruciating which in turn then smoked more, like dah that wasn't very bright or smoke with the flu or strep throat or whatever, what a powerful addiction but I am a Happy quitter and I know that there's many, many Happy quitters here and if you are struggling hang tough and stay close and if you don't believe me about being content being an Exer then please stick with your quit 3 or even 4 months because I believe that you will realize how much better life is without the crutch of cigarettes and that will make you happy which will make me Happy too.
